Interstate 10 Widening Project:
Soil nail walls were constructed for several miles through roadway cut
sections to accomodate the roadway widening. The
walls were constructed using soil nails anchored against a shotcrete
facing. An architectural facing was added to the outside of the walls. These walls were
designed by DMJM+HARRIS for San
Bernardino Associated Governments.
